Evening Meal

Before our daughter was born we spent most of our holidays in France, we used to deliberately stay in B&B accommodation (as opposed to hotels that offered half-Restaurant Mealboard) so that in the evenings we could sample the delights of the local restaurants, which nearly always offered better quality food than half board. The location of many alpine ski chalets is such that eating out each evening would not be that practical. However Briançon is a major town with a large number of restaurants to choice from, and Chantemerle and Villeneuve are less than an easy 10 minutes drive away, making the choice of restaurants huge. We are compiling a list of restaurants with guests’ comments on them to help you make your choice.
